Apple has announced an upgrade of its wireless headphones. The new second-generation AirPods can be activated with the "Hey Siri" command and are offered with a wireless charging case.

Buyers now have the option of ordering new AirPods with standard charge cases or the new wireless charging case. It can be wirelessly charged via a Qi charger or wired through the Lightning connection. It is also available separately and compatible with the first generation AirPods.
The AirPods would provide up to five hours of playback and up to three hours of talk with a single charge. With a charging time of 15 minutes, according to Apple, you can reach up to three hours of playback. The loading case should allow another run time of 24 hours. On the front of the housing, an LED indicates the state of charge.
AirPods can be ordered from Apple's online store now and next week at the Apple Store on site. The delivery must be made according to the information of the online shop from March 26th. The AirPods with standard case cost 179 euros, with wireless charging case, they are offered at 229 euros. The individual cost of the wireless charging box is 89 euros. When ordering online, you can also badign a custom engraving to the case.
