19, GNA – Board of Governors of the University of Winneba (UEW)
announced his full support for his Vice Chancellor (VC), the Most Reverend
Father Professor Afful-Broni.
He also stated
categorically that the VC appointment of the University was his only
prerogative under sections 13 (1) and (2) of Act 672 and did not intend to
share it with another entity.
"We are fully
support of the administration and are proud of the successes achieved
Afful-Broni wrote in the seven months following his departure

In a statement signed by
Professor Emmanuel Abakah, Chairman of the Board of Governors, read by Mr.
John Darko board member at a forum at the University, VC, they
declared, discharged his duties to the full satisfaction of the Council.
