Rendeavour, developer of Appolonia City, has launched a new project in Nigeria, giving Appolonia City a new sister city in West Africa.

The city of Alaro is built in partnership with the Lagos State Government as a city-wide mixed-income development with industrial and logistical facilities, complemented by offices, housing, schools, health facilities, hotels, recreation and 370 hectares of parks and green spaces.

Just like the impact of Appolonia City on Ghana, Alaro City is expected to boost foreign direct investment in Nigeria and create tens of thousands of jobs.

At a ceremony marking the official start of the project, which already has on-site multinational construction facilities, Alaro City partners shared their vision of the satellite city.

"We welcome the substantial foreign direct investment made by Rendeavour to Alaro, which will further strengthen the Lekki Free Zone as Nigeria's privileged entry gate," said Akinwunmi Ambode, governor of the state of Lagos.
