The Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) was successfully launched on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the British Council, Accra.

The awards program, which aims to honor women's contributions to national development across Ghana, has enabled the beautiful Afro Soul Songtress, Araya Afrika, to present a masterpiece of creative and artistic performance the same day.

The Afro Soul Act, also playing the role of Afroballerina, dominated the stage with its silky voice and the live instruments of an acoustic guitarist who amazed the audience.

Creating songs with the name GOWA, Freestyling with songs that mean empowering women, Araya Afrika is currently promoting her debut single "Ogya".

The dynamic singer has published an exquisite video illustrating the African culture in addition to the song Thursday, July 25, 2019.
