Rodgers and Hammerstein bring the money …

Ariana Grande reportedly sold 90% of the '7 Rings' royalties to the Rodgers and Hammerstein estates after sampling their iconic 'My Favorite Things' title.

The Grande song borrows the tune of the song, written by the couple for The sound of music in 1959.

While the influential songwriters died in 1959 and 1970 respectively, the New York Times reports that the Grande label, Republic, reached an agreement in January with Concord, the record label owner of the Rodgers and Hammerstein catalog since 2017.

They would have agreed on 90% royalties in order to grant Grande their license to use the track.

It comes after Gwen Stefani has tasted the yodel of The sound of music"Lonely Goatherd" for his 2006 "Wind It Up" title – Rodgers and Hammerstein receiving 50% of royalties.

Grande's efforts have been published on "Thank U, Next" – her second album in six months, after "Sweetener" of 2018.

On Tuesday, Grande also launched her 'Sweetener' world tour with a spectacular arena in Albany, New York.

By posting on Twitter after the show, Ariana wrote, "I really do not know what to say for the moment. for the moment, thanks will suffice. a dream come true typeaa night. I like you. so many. Thank you."

Ariana will now travel all over North America – before the "Sweetener" tour to Europe later this year. In addition to Manchester Pride leading the way this year, Grande will be supporting her "Sweetener" with long dates starting in London in August and ending in Zurich in December.
