Armie Hammer's wife "defends" their son by sucking his toes in the Instagram video

Armie Hammer's wife stepped in to defend their young son, who was filmed sucking the actor's toes in an Instagram video.

In the clip that Armie, 32, shared on Saturday, we see the couple's son, Ford Douglas Armand, briefly sucking the toes of the actor.

Most of the 1.2 million Armie followers on Instagram have been outraged by this video, which no longer appears in his Instagram stories.

The wife of the actress, Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, would have now responded to criticism.

Commenting on an Instagram post of the video on Perez Hilton's page, Elizabeth reportedly said, "It was not seven minutes, but five seconds.

"Our son likes to play with people's feet and I put the video on our family stream because this phase is a joke going on."

She added, "Sharing the video on Instagram was certainly not the best thing for A to do, but I can badure you that the safety and well-being of our children is always our top priority."

Elizabeth seems to have since deleted the comment.

In the short clip, we hear a woman, presumably Elizabeth, laughing in the background saying, "It's not normal."

Armie then says, "Okay, no more."

In the video's caption, Armie writes, "It's been a good 7 minutes," adding the hashtag "foot bad on fleek".

The clip details the followers of Armie with the star of Love & Hip Hop, Tahiry, who comments: "TOTALLY NOT FUN … inappropriate", while another questions: "So rude. Why post it and let it continue for 7 minutes !!

An Instagram user said, "It's not inappropriate, it's just nasty," while another explained, "Call me old-fashioned, but I do not think it's funny. at all. He should have told him to stop and it was wrong to let himself go to his father's head. I guess he's not just out of the shower where his feet are freshly washed and clean. And even then, I would tell my child that he should not do it [sic]. '

The video did not shock everyone. A fan of Armie was arguing: "Dude. This is f ***** g harmless. Do not you all have small children? They make odd bad s ** t. BELIEVE ME. You're an adult, you badualize him, this kid thinks it's funny to put his father's toe in his mouth … do you want me to list the things kids want to put in their mouths? Can not. Too long [sic]. '
