The hana Armwrestling Federation (GAF), in partnership with ABL's Eagle Extra Stout, will begin the 2019 competition calendar with a national Armwrestling Challenge.
The challenge, dubbed the Eagle Extra Stout Armwrestling Challenge, would take place in Tarkwa, in the Western Region.
Fencers and players from Tarkwa, Axim, Wiasow, Sekondi, Takoradi, Sharma, Wbada, Nkroful, Prestea, Enchi, Daboase and its surroundings would meet on Saturday, March 30 at Tarkwa Cyanide Park to engage in friendly battles of Armwrestling.
The contest consists of selecting champions from the Western Regional Champions in the different weight categories.
The men and women who excel are rewarded with prizes ranging from Eagle Extra Stout! Money, trophies, T-shirts, hats and more.
It will be remembered that the GAF and Eagle Extra Stout had organized a successful inaugural event in Sunyani, Brong Ahafo in 2018.
The challenge would affect Koforidua, Kumasi and Bolgatanga for the first round and would continue with the other regions in the second round after July.
