A military officer at the Army Recruit Training School in Shai Hills, Warrant Officer II, Robert Doku, is said to have committed suicide.
The body of WO II Doku was discovered at dawn on Friday, hanging by a rope tied to a tree at the Burma camp in Accra.
So far, no one has attributed a reason why Warrant Officer Doku will kill himself.
Police were called to the scene of the crime to investigate the alleged suicide, according to the Daily Graphic.
The body of the officer who was previously stationed at the base’s ammunition depot has since been dropped off at the 37 military hospital.
