He added that, regardless of their color or political position, the party should be bold enough to take legal action against them.

"This will dispel confidence in the government, but if things went as planned, the number of frauds would continue in the banking sector," he said.

"The government should in no way be lenient with them.The law should be allowed to follow its course," he added, asking the Bank of Ghana to employ more recipients to allow them to facilitate their work so that applicants can receive their contributions. cash.

Eric Nana Nipah, the receiver of 23 collapsed savings and credit companies and finance companies, announced he would begin paying payments to the affected companies' depositors within 7 days.

According to him, the payments would be made according to the funds available from the government.

"I'm looking to be able to start the payment within seven days, which is related to the funding to be received from the government," he said.

Nipah also said he had not yet met with officials of the Bank of Ghana (BoG) to comment on how to pay the funds.

"I have no idea of ​​the money involved nor of the government that was going to make available [but] I am hopeful that in the coming days, all this will be settled and explained, "he added.
