Well, this news is not fantastic: Monday Arrow marked the last episode of Echo Kellum as a regular series, the actor confirms to EW.com.
The conversation about Curtis' release started in Season 6, Kellum explains. "That was my idea. I have kids … and I was just starting to think that I should be more and more at home. Kellum said he had had "a long conversation about family and fatherhood" with playwright Marc Guggenheim, "and he really understood where I was coming from. . "
But as it's about the Reverse, where characters tend to come and go at random, Kellum reveals that he's had "some talk" about how Curtis could reappear on the line although "nothing has been finalized yet." It's something he's "ready to do at 100% … so it should definitely work at some point in the future."
Kellum appeared for the first time in the fourth season of Arrow recurrently, before being promoted to the regular series in season 5. During his time in the series, he also became part of the team Arrow, later adapting the character of vigilante, Mr. Terrific.
Of course, leaving Curtis Star City to reach the capital of our country was not the only major turning point of Monday's episode. We finally learned the true identity of Katherine McNamara's mysterious Mia, which you can read in TVLine's Q & A with the actress.
