Arsenal is confident in the fact that defender Kieran Tierney will receive a contract of about 25 million pounds sterling with Celtic.

The Gunners had two bids rejected by the Bhoys, who hoped to get about £ 30m for the Scottish international.

However, Tierney has made it clear that he would like a move to the UAE and that Celtic is resigned to losing the 22-year-old.

Arsenal won the signing race of Saint-Ettiene defender William Saliba, who rejected Tottenham's interest in accepting a transfer of 27 million pounds to the UAE.

The Frenchman will be Arsenal's second rookie this summer after Gabriel Martinelli and Football arrive. London argues the Gunners are confident of making Tierney their third capture.

Once Tierney's move is over, the Gunners will focus on a loan deal for Real Madrice as Dani Ceballos.

The contracts for Tierney and Saliba will have exhausted most of Unai Emery's transfer budget, but companies like Carl Jenkinson, Mohamed Elneny and Calum Chambers could be sold to raise additional funds.

The club wanted to engage the Crystal Palace striker Wilfried Zaha and offered Jenkinson, Elneny and Chambers in exchange for the Ivorian, as well as £ 40 million.

However, the deal was rejected outright by the Eagles, who rate Zaha at more than 90 million pounds sterling.
