Arsenal fans worry that the new kit will be "ruined" while they spot pre-season changes

The new kit for Arsenal's retro-inspired home has garnered rave reviews since its unveiling last month.

The new Adidas band was introduced for the first time by the first team in its preseason friendly match against Colorado Rapids.

But fans spotted a key detail that left them concerned the band had been ruined.

Others simply called them "horrible" and wondered about the "why" by saying, "They just ruined the Arsenal home kit with yellow numbers and names".

Many asked if it was going to be "a thing" or if they would come back to white, as should be the case before the start of the Premier League campaign.

Despite the "appalling" numbers, Arsenal had little trouble against the Colorado Rapids.

The goals of the young Bukayo Saka and James Olayinka gave them a fast lead of 2-0 while Unai Emery gave an inexperienced team a chance to impress the starting lineup.
