Arsenal would be in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to sign one of their attackers while Unai Emery is looking to strengthen his team.
According to BBC Sport, the Gunners engaged in negotiations with the Ligue 1 giants to obtain the services of Christopher Nkunku.
Nkunku played under the colors of Emery at PSG last season, but has not been featured regularly since Thomas Tuchel took office since the start of the campaign.
The report says the Gunners are looking to borrow Nkunku for the rest of the campaign with an option to buy, although PSG is looking to expand the player before any loan transfer.
Emery recently told the media that he wanted to recruit new players after some players were injured.
"The club is still working on it," he began. "It's hard, you know, but I work with our players and I think we need – and we can – get players to sign after our injuries, like Rob Holding, like Welbeck, like Hector Bellerin," declared Emery quoted by: FourFourTwo.
"The idea is first to find quality and this quality can help us. We need, if he can come here, a winger for the right or for the left or some players also in the center of the back.
