The winger was an integral part of Croatia's success at the World Cup last summer and scored in the final after being beaten 4-2 by France.

In November, Perisic alluded to his desire to play one day in the Premier League.

"I have always said that it was my dream, in football everything is possible, we will see in the future. Now I focus on the Inter."

Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti said that Perisic would not be sold cheaply, while Gunners boss Unai Emery had previously told the media that Arsenal could not engage players on loan this month.

Perisic was previously linked to a move to Manchester United under the direction of Jose Mourinho.
