After a slow start of the transfer window, Arsenal makes serious changes in the transfer window.
The Gunners had already landed Gabriel Martinelli, Dani Ceballos and William Saliba and concluded Thursday a contract with the Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
The Ivorian was coveted by several European clubs, but Arsenal allowed them to overtake Napoleon, Liverpool and Manchester United.
The left back of Celtic Kieran Tierney also remains on the agenda and the deal could get closer, but a decision by Wilfried Zaha now seems unlikely.
On the field, the Gunners returned from their pre-season American tour and resumed the fight against Lyon in the Emirates Cup.
The French won 2 to 1 thanks to a doubling of Moussa Dembele, despite the opener of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Alexandre Lacazette is injured on foot but he has already resumed training.
On Wednesday, the Gunners drew 1-1 against Angers and now face Barcelona at Camp Nou under the Joan Gamper Trophy in their last warm-up match, before the start of the new Premier League season.
