Groups of supporters and other influential fans have come together to demand from the owner of the Gunners that he begins to be ambitious
The largest groups of Arsenal fans have come together to issue a statement calling on the owner, Stan Kroenke, to reinvigorate the club.

Club fans are extremely frustrated with the way the club is run. Many believe that Kroenke has no ambition to narrow the gap between Manchester City and Liverpool.
The American billionaire arrived for the first time at Arsenal in 2007, shortly after the Gunners reached the Champions League final in 2006 against Barcelona, which they had lost 2 to 1 to Paris.
Since then, Arsenal has only won three FA Cups and has not qualified for the Champions League since 2017.
The decline of the pitch has led to matches being played in the UAE in front of thousands of empty seats every week – and the situation has now taken viewers to an unprecedented stage.
For the first time, the biggest groups of fans of the club, as well as other influential fans, websites and bloggers have come together to issue a call to action.
Using the hashtag #wecaredoyou, they issued a joint statement demanding that Kroenke and the club begin to reverse the decline observed in recent seasons.
The statement begins: "As fans of Arsenal, we have been frustrated by the deterioration in the performance of the football team over the last decade. When Stan Kroenke started buying Arsenal shares, the club had just played in a first Champions League final. Twelve years later, Arsenal is about to play in the Europa League for the third year in a row.
"Off the pitch, supporters have never felt more marginalized, less listened to or valued. This was sadly illustrated when Stan Kroenke forcibly redeemed the remaining remaining shareholders-shareholders without even a word of appreciation for their role as guardian within the club.
"It's as if Arsenal was at a crossroads. Things must change.
"As signatories of this declaration, we all want to see a significant action by Stan Kroenke to reinvigorate our football club.
"It takes work to strengthen the club's board and football and to make Arsenal a place where fans have a real sense of belonging. Change must begin with better leadership. "
In his takeover document, Stan Kroenke said: "KSE's ambitions for the club are to see him consistently compete to win the Premier League and the Champions League."
"We see little evidence of how this should be done. Instead, our club feels like an investment vehicle, personified by the owner's statement that he did not buy Arsenal to win trophies.
"It is unfortunate that an institution like Arsenal FC has such pbadive ownership. We all want to have a clear idea of purpose and direction. KSE should start out being more open and responsible and explain how they plan to reach their goal of winning the game's top trophies. "
The joint statement – which is supported by groups such as the Arsenal Supporters' Trust, the Black Scarf Movement (BSM) and REDaction – also addresses the need for an improved ticketing system, calls the club to support security and publicly reject proposals for a European Super League with guaranteed entry every year for European elite clubs.

She ends by saying, "As supporters of Arsenal, we care deeply.
"We would like to hear from our club and see actions that demonstrate that they are doing it too. The first opportunity arises when the general manager and the head of football address the invited supporters on 25 July. We urge them to address the issues raised here.
"We will look with interest."
