FC Inter News has what it presents as an update on Arsenal's attempts to sign Ivan Perisic before closing the window on Thursday.
The Sunday edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport explained that the Premier League club had spoken with the Perisic agent and that Inter Milan had announced the terms of the contract.
The Italian club would require either a full transfer of about 35 million euros, a loan agreement with clauses providing for an almost certain summer buyout.
According to FC Inter News, the Gunners have offered Perisic 3 million euros for the rest of the season to cover the loan term. He stated that he would then earn between 6.5 and 7 million euros per season on a three year contract if Arsenal made a permanent transfer in the summer.
Salaries are usually quoted after tax by the Italian sports media.
The figures are considered acceptable for Perisic.
The contacts between the clubs are continuing and compromises will have to be made if we want to reach an agreement in the coming days.
