Arsenal is about to make a third bid for Kieran Tierney after Celtic has rejected their offer, reports said.
The Gunners are determined to land the Celtic left-back, but have struggled to meet the requirements of the Scottish champions.
The Celtic want 25 million pounds for Tierney and refuse to move after Arsenal has proposed the idea of adding add-ons.
Arsenal's latest offer would only reach the £ 25 million mark if certain goals of the Champions League were met.
Celtic thinks that these add-ons were unrealistic and the Daily mail claim Arsenal are about to return with an improved offer.
Arsenal will not increase their offer, but will commit to pay more than 25 million pounds sterling.
If Tierney were to leave, it would become the most expensive sale of the Scottish Premiership, ahead of £ 19.7 million paid by Lyon for Moussa Dembele last summer.
Arsenal is working with a tight transfer budget of £ 45m, leaving Unai Emery struggling to achieve its main goals. Arsenal, however, is confident of being able to move Tierney away from Celtic.
The 22-year-old defender has spent his entire professional career at Celtic, but it is thought he's open to joining Arsenal.
