Although the cedar season is coming to an end, elm pollen has arrived.
A mild winter brought elm pollen nearly a week earlier than expected. The elm trees usually begin to bloom in February and release their pollen in early April, but this year the pollen arrived in central Texas in the last days of January.

If you are allergic to Elm, you will probably experience symptoms similar to those of asthma. Some of the symptoms include itching, sneezing, headache, red or watery eyes, or runny nose, but many other symptoms are possible.
