Asantehene congratulates MTN for the coherence of its telecommunications sector

Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II urged telecommunications giant MTN Ghana to redouble its efforts to maintain the success of its company.

While commending the company for the consistency with which it provides services to the people of Ghana, the Asante monarch urged management to continue to help the socio-economic development of the country.

Assantehene made the remarks at Manhyia Palace when some of the executives of the company headed by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer showed him courtesy and kept their promise to support the King's 20th birthday.

During the gesture, the company presented a check for 100,000 Ghc and a basket worth 5,000 Ghc for the celebrations.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II congratulated the company for its partnership with Manhyia Palace and the projects it has carried out in the Ashanti region.

Selorm Adadevoh, President and CEO of MTN-Ghana, said after the presentation that the company had chosen to join in the celebration after Asantehene's immense contribution to the development of the kingdom. Asante and Ghana as a whole.

He added that the company would also participate in other activities during the anniversary, as it collaborates with the planning committee throughout the celebrations.
