Ashley Cole snubbed Jose Mourinho saying that Luiz Felipe Scolari and Carlo Ancelotti were his favorite managers.

The former Chelsea defender was at the Blues between 2006 and 2014 and had eight different bosses at that time.

Cole was led by Mourinho for three seasons, but he was not his favorite boss.

Cold told Sky Sports: "I enjoyed Scolari and Ancelotti, probably my two favorites.

"I think Scolari [is my favourite]He came at a time when I was not playing as well as I knew when I first arrived at Chelsea – I was not the Ashley Cole they knew at Arsenal.

"He came and brought this new life, it was like playing for Brazil. He's had me bombed against players like Jamie Carragher, with [Jose] Bosingwa on the other side.

"We had no rules, we could go where we wanted, the left and right backs went at the same time. We played football fantastically, but in December the match fell and he got the bag. "

Scolari was sacked after seven months in command of the Blues in fourth place in February.

The Derby County defenseman also believes that for the current Chelsea team to succeed, she needs her talisman Eden Hazard to be at its best.

Cole said, "He's in the top three or four [I’ve played with]. When he arrives on a field on a Saturday afternoon, he is electric.

"He is a great player for them and you need him to keep going around in circles.

Jamie Carragher thinks that Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is under pressure, but Cole was not in agreement.

Cole on Sarri: "I do not think he's under pressure – he's trying to put his philosophy on it." I watched Sarri-ball in Italy and the football they played is incredible.

"It's different now, but I think it boils down to trust. They had the confidence to play from behind.

"Some Chelsea players have to start doing it as soon as possible."

Cole was asked about what he thought of Chelsea's regular appointment as a manager, and insisted that it was all about winning.

Cole said, "You are here to win. We have probably taken one of the greatest managers ever [Jose Mourinho] and two years after my arrival, he received the bag. I think the president [Roman Abramovich] was awesome.
