Actor Ashely Judd travels to the Congo often as part of his work with the endangered Bonobo monkey population. During a recent hike through the rainforest, she suffered a fall that left her hospitalized.
In an Instagram live chat with New York Times‘Nicholas Kristof, Judd explained that she tripped over a fallen tree and broke her leg.
