Angel Di Maria receives medical treatment after being expelled from the field
Paris Saint-Germain director Thomas Tuchel blamed Ashley Young for dismissing Angel Di Maria from the field and said he was lucky not to be deported.
The incident occurred in the first half of PSG's 2-0 victory over Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Already on a booking, Young pushed the winger out of the game and into the grids of Old Trafford, angering the PSG players, but the Italian referee Daniele Orsato kept his yellow card in his pocket.
Tuchel felt that the gesture of Young deserved a penalty from the referee.
He said, "I think he was lucky because it was not necessary – he played several times here and he knows that there is a small hill falling down.
"It was not necessary to push Di Maria into the fence, I do not think it was deliberate and I'm happy that there was not a big injury."
Former Manchester United player Di Maria received an enthusiastic welcome from local fans. All his contacts were whistled and a bottle of beer was thrown at him in the second half.

Tuchel said: "Di Maria is very competitive, if you tease him, it does not make him weaker.
