To this end, the party had to submit an amendment to its constitution to allow the election of the flag bearer after 7 December 2018, a modification recently successfully adopted by its Congress.

Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo, responding to a question about the timing of the election of the flag bearer, said the party had a timetable to follow and that he had therefore decided to go ahead. organize an orientation session for new elected leaders.
