Tema Port Public Affairs Director, Ms. Josephine Asante, who was murdered on January 13, 2019 at her home in Emefs Estate, near Afienya, in Ningo Prampram District.
She was buried Saturday after a religious service at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Mercy, where hundreds of mourners gathered.
Ms. Asante, 49, was murdered after her end-of-year dinner organized by her employer, the Ghana Ports and Habits Authority (GPHA).
The atmosphere at Saturday church was solemn.

Dressed in red and black, many mourners sat in a pensive mood and stared at the coffin containing the mortal remains of the deceased.
Dozens of GPHA workers, friends of the deceased who had rushed into church premises, were seen in groups discussing how she had been murdered.
In a sermon, the parish priest of the St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church and John Fischer in Achimota lamented that greed, jealousy, gossiping have become a fiber of Ghanaian society.
