The late Hussein-Suale Ahmed
The Accra Regional Police Command called on the public to voluntarily release information that could lead to the arrest of the alleged killers of Ahmed Hussein-Suale, an investigative journalist for journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas' Tiger Eye PI.
They also mounted a manhunt for unknown badailants who allegedly drove an unregistered motorcycle.

Eye-witness In an interview with Graphic Online, Ms. Effia Tenge, Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command, said that the police control room had received information on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 around 10 pm on shooting.
Two unidentified gunmen allegedly shot the private investigator Tiger Eye PI's partner while driving near the Catholic Church of the Queen of Peace, Madina Estate, in the region of Great Accra.
When a police patrol went to the scene, she found Ahmed in a BMW sedan bearing the registration number AS 1928-Q, shot and wounded.

According to Ms. Tenge, an eyewitness reportedly told the police that Ahmed had been shot three times by the driver's side of the car.
She said that Ahmed had been taken to the Pentecost Hospital, Madina, for treatment, but that he had been declared dead upon his arrival.
The body of the deceased has since been dropped off at the police hospital morgue awaiting autopsy.

She added that the police had recovered three empty shells and that the BMW sedan had also been impounded for the purpose of investigation.
