Association of private lottery operators and agents, others call for calm in the lottery industry

The National Association of Private Lotto Operators and Agents in Ghana and the National Chamber of Bankers, Bankers and Lotto Agents in Ghana are calling for calm and peace in the lottery industry.

Members of the Association and the House also urge all private lottery operators and agents to stop the media war with authority as it is inappropriate and inappropriate to fight against the regulator of the lottery industry.

The NLA is mandated by relevant laws to ensure that every individual and business operating in the sector does so in accordance with Law 722, LI 1948 and Section 22 of Law 844.

According to the understanding of the contract between the NLA and all private lottery operators licensed under Law 844 governed by Law 722 and Law of 1948, it was:

1. Never stated in the contract that a private lotto operator or agent can organize independent live lotto draws on television without a composition of the draw committee properly set up by the NLA.

2. Never stated in the contract that a private lotto operator or agent can operate a short code for the NLA VAG 5/90 game.

3. Only one license issued to us, ie a license under Law 844.

We never received a license from Law 722.
Let us all support NLA, the regulator of the lottery industry, as the collapse of the NLA will eventually collapse the entire industry, including all private lottery operators, agents and writers.

Let us always try to adopt the measures of dialogue and consensus building with our regulator, the ALN, rather than always running to the media to fight and undermine them.
