We also visited Istanbul last week, where ASUS introduced several new laptops for players. Among them, the Mothership has emerged, which may suit in every respect to replace a buffy desktop. Another question is that it has a price but it is not small: the machine tastes only 2,000,000 forints …

But these days, not only have these new machines been dismantled, but also the new ASUS TUF FX505 and FX705 laptops have been announced. The biggest difference between the two lies of course in size and display, since the FX505 measures 15.6 inches, while the FX705 measures 17.3 inches. In both cases, we get a resolution of 1080p, but for the FX505, we can choose a 60 Hz or 120 Hz panel.

In either case, the heart of the machines can be an AMD Ryzen 5 3550H or AMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor, which can hold up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM. You can choose between three video cards: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 3GB, GTX 1650 4GB or GTX 1660Ti 6GB.
The cooling system has also been renewed, providing the CPU and GPU with a separate fan and heat sinks connected by a common cooling tube. Hot air is vented to the back of the machine, while dust is discharged through special ducts to prevent the cooling system from sealing.

The new TUF laptops are available in different colors, but with the same rigidity. The lower part has a hexagonal design for structural reinforcement and rigidity to provide a real TUF. These models meet the MIL-STD-810G military standard, and extensive testing has proven to withstand extreme conditions, shocks and accidental impacts. In this house, there is a keyboard adapted to the needs of the players, of which the quadruple WASD is distinguished, the cursor keys are slightly separated and the spacebar is widened. There was also RGB lighting and no more numeric keypads.

The ASUS TUF FX505 and FX705 will be on store shelves in the second quarter. ■
