The Australian stock market is expected to open higher after a positive advance from abroad at the end of last week.
The SPI200 futures contract rose 41 points, or 0.65%, to 6,395.0 at 7:00 am EST, suggesting a quick rebound for the S & P / ASX200 benchmark on Monday.
On Friday, on Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended up 1.20%, the S & P 500 1.44% and the Nasdaq Composite, technology-intensive, 1.67%.
