Audible Reveals New Fictional Podcast Created by Stan Lee

Audible announced the release date in June of its new fictional podcast called Wedding rings: a light tower, co-created by Lee, telling the story of an improbable friendship, superheroes and our growing dependence on technology.

In a press release, Audible revealed that Lee had been working for two years on alliances, a saga of superheroes unfolding in its own universe – no connection to Marvel, who has his own fictional podcast series on Wolverine on Stitcher. It was one of Lee's last collaborative projects prior to his death in November 2018, co-written with Kat Rosenfield and created alongside Luke Lieberman and Ryan Silbert.

"Stan had the amazing ability to see around the corner and recognize the cultural moment, then create a story and characters that spark deeper questions," Lieberman and Silbert said in a statement. "As co-creators and, more importantly, as fans, we can not wait for other fans to discover this world."
