Austrian company Signa and RFR Holding buy Chrysler Building from New York

BERLIN (Reuters) – Austrian real estate company Signa Holding and New York-based property developer RFR Holding LLC acquired Friday the iconic Chrysler Building in Manhattan.

Signa and RFR have entered into a joint venture to acquire the badets of Abu Dhabi Investment Council and Tishman Speyer, Signa added.

Earlier in March, Reuters announced that Signa and RFR would buy the art deco tower, the tallest building in the world at its construction in 1930, for around $ 150 million.
