The directors of the latest Avengers film have urged fans not to reveal intrigue details after the online broadcast of some images and images.
"Please, do not spoil it for others, in the same way that you would not want it to be spoiled for you," wrote Anthony and Joe Russo, brothers and sisters, in a open letter.
The disclosed images appeared on social media this week before being removed.
Avengers: Endgame, which follows Avengers: Infinity War from last year, opens in the UK on April 25th.
In their letter to the "biggest fans of the world", the Russo said that they had worked "tirelessly" to deliver "a surprising conclusion and a powerful emotion to the Infinity Saga".
"Remember, Thanos always demands your silence," they continued, referring to the main villain of the film, a genocidal warlord interpreted by Josh Brolin.
The brothers' letter was accompanied by a hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame provided with his own emoji & # 39; A & # 39; customized.
A similar appeal had been launched before the release of Infinity War, which (spoiler alert) ended with the erasure of many characters.
Endgame sees the surviving heroes, including Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man and Chris Hemsworth's Thor, embark on a mission to "avenge the dead".
Critics are embargoed until April 23, 23h EST – just hours before the film arrives in the cinemas of some countries.
