In a statement released on Thursday, June 13, 2019 and signed by group president Eric Darko, the group said it had "read a report on a survey conducted by the Department of Political Science at the University. from Ghana, Legon "and a group, he" felt sad even though he was not surprised at the result. "

According to the group, he is disappointed that Mr. Andah gets 12% of the vote and says that it means "literally that the voters of Awutu Senya West do not want to see his face on the ballot come to 2020".

The group therefore suggested that Mr. Andah "retire as a member of Parliament to allow us to choose a new member who will strive to change the fate of the voters of Awutu Senya West".

According to the group, "the survey reaffirms the complaints of the voters of Awutu Senya West, who said that the performance of our MP was catastrophic and that they were eager to change it in 2020. So it will be very honorable for the Hon. . George Nenyi Andah has to give his place to a replacement for a year and a half so that we can see some developments in our riding. "

The statement adds that Mr. Andah not only "failed, but dishonored Awutu Senya West because he just told the world that we made the wrong choice and that we promise that this mistake will not happen again in 2020 ".

The Patriots also said that they needed Mr Andah's "apologies" for "their failure and shame in the world."
