Koforidua (E / R), April
19, GNA – Koforidua Technical University (KTU) took delivery of 100
bags of cement from Friends of Baafi, a philanthropic organization, which
promotes humanitarian issues in the municipality of New Juaben South.

The group is constituted
whose activities are aimed at promoting the political interest of Mr.
Michael Okyeref Baafi, Managing Director of the Free Zones Administration Council.

The donation was
support the improvement of infrastructure at KTU.

The group had earlier
donates 100 additional bags of cement to support infrastructure development
Training School for Nurses and Midwives of Koforidua.

A member of
Baafi's friends, Louis Appiah told the Ghana news agency that donations
had to contribute their quota to the promotion of education in the
municipality.

Vice Chancellor of
Ms. Smile Dzisi, KTU professor, thanked the group for its nice gesture and said:
the gift was timely as the institution embarked on a wall project
than 30 percent complete.

Prof Dzisi said, the
The project aimed to protect the Institute's territory from encroachments
took almost a part of their property from the institute.

She appealed to
companies, philanthropists and individuals to support the
institution, the government alone can not bear all the costs.
