Veteran journalist Abdul Kweku Baako defended the state's blatant disregard for a court decision authorizing the release of a murder suspect on bail.
Baako said during JoyNews' television show Newsfile on Saturday morning that he insisted that the police had reason to suspect that the documents submitted to satisfy Gregory Afoko's bail conditions were of dubious validity.
He said the police were right to refuse bail, as there is more and more evidence of false and false documents being used to secure bail for suspects.
