After more than two years of judicial struggle, the court, presided over by Judge Patience Mills-Tetteh, declared Abubakari responsible and ruled that the former MP intended to deliberately continue to harm Alhaji Kamara's reputation.

The High Court in Accra inflicted 1.5 million GH ¢ in damages on Ibrahim Dey Abubakari, former MP for Salaga South, for defaming Alhaji Baba Kamara, a former national security adviser.
