Holly Kingston is battling claims that she is a professional actress posing as a reality TV star.

The Bachelor candidate, who is currently competing for Jimmy Nicholson’s heart in the Channel Ten series, recently shared her professional resume on IMDb.

But the 27-year-old now says playing the role is a thing of her past, in an interview with News.com.au.

“I played a minor role on a TV show over six years ago after graduating from college,” Kingston said.

“While I enjoyed the time spent doing this, my passion is in the area I am currently working in. I have over five years of marketing experience for great Australian brands and this is where my only focus is. “

Kingston, who is listed as “Marketing Manager” on Channel Ten’s website, played “Alice” in nine episodes of Ready For This in 2015.

She features prominently in a trailer for the ABC3 teen drama series, as a blonde athlete engaged in an apparent feud with her native competitor.

The bombshell response to claims that she really is an actress comes after she found herself in hot water because of a seemingly pro-Trump Instagram post from 2018.

In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, Holly confirmed that the post was simply “made in a joke” and had nothing to do with her political views.

“The comment I made on my 2018 Instagram caption that referred to US politics was made with a joke and complete sarcasm,” she explained.

“It’s pretty obvious that I use satire a lot on my social media platforms. This comment is by no means an accurate representation of my political beliefs. ‘

Despite the sarcastic nature of the post, he still sent a handful of plummeting Australian journalists to Twitter, with just one writing: “Yikes”.

The topic was also touched on on the Fitzy & Wippa radio show on Thursday, but the hosts seemed more sympathetic to Holly than the Warriors woke up on Twitter.

“Maybe she took the p ** s,” the show’s producer said while discussing the post with hosts Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli.
