ICYMI, a few weeks ago, a woman named Haley Stevens came to tell us that she was dating Jed just before leaving for the series, saying, "He called me when he landed in LA He said: "I love you, and I will call you when I come back."
She also claimed that Jed had only participated in the series for his musical career and that he had fantasized it on his return from filming. "I never even had a break – I never had an explanation," she said in an interview. Oh, and she also said that he had cheated on her when they were dating and that she shared some of their personal texts, so yes … it became messy on Internet for Jed!
Jed remained pretty cute on the whole situation (I guess he is forced by contract or ABC press representatives gave him a stern voice), but he finally broke his silence on Instagram today. to ask people to stop with hatred. Apparently he and his family were threatened and verbally abused because of the situation. He wrote:
Hi everybody. Many of you have reached out with messages and questions. Know that I am not able to answer for the moment, but as soon as I can, I will do it. • Until then, I ask you to understand how much the actions undertaken towards myself, my family, the men of the series and, above all, Hannah affect all our physical and mental health. • It goes beyond what is said online. Letters and threatening phone calls were sent to our homes. My parents and my sister are verbally attacked in public. Please remember that what appears to be a harmless action is harmful to real people. • I want to thank all those who have extended their hand or reserved their judgment until I am able to speak openly and I can only ask you for your patience and kindness so far.
And even if it's not acceptable to attack someone online or over the phone (and hopefully I will not have to remind anyone!) I do not know that I will "reserve my judgment" to Jed. WBU?
