The prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, chief prophet of the Glorious Wave International Church Church, is under fire from celebrities and social media users after his bizarre comments on the temperament of Ghanaian women in marriage.

In an interview with SVTV Africa, Samini, award-winning reggae-dancehall artist, said Badu Kobi's comment was unfortunate and harmful to Ghanaian culture.

"It's his opinion and his freedom of expression has become easy thanks to social media. But forgive me for saying that this is an unfortunate statement, he did not speak well. Because it's not up to him to show which tribe to marry and which tribe should not be married. How does he read the Bible and where does he lead us? If anything comes to your mind, he should at least discuss it with his relatives, so that it is perceived as making sense, "he added.

Samini also told DJ Nyaami that Africans, especially Ghanaians, should pay close attention to these prophets who still claim that God has revealed something to them.

He stressed that Ghanaians should be vigilant against these prophets who claim to be called to ministry.

The film producer "My Own" also urged Ghanaians not to get carried away by these pastors, but rather to learn some wisdom from their appalling behavior.
