Balor vs. Nakamura ready for the pre-show WWE Extreme Rules

A match for the intercontinental title has been added to the card for the extreme rules.

Intercontinental champion Finn Balor will defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura in tonight's qualifying session. The match was announced during the pre-Extreme Rules edition of WWE Now.

On the SmackDown back-to-home show for Extreme Rules, Nakamura defeated Balor in an untitled game. Their program began when Nakamura interrupted a behind-the-scenes Balor interview with the episode of SmackDown on June 25 and indicated that he wanted the Intercontinental title.

Extreme Rules is taking place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania tonight. The pre-show will start at 6:00 pm Eastern time, with the main map starting one hour later.
