Barcelona beat Sevilla as they had eliminated the deficit of the first leg to impose 6-1 (6-3 total) and qualify for the semifinals of the Copa del Rey.
The four-time defending champion entered the match after a convincing 2-0 win at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan the previous week, but he made a very impressive performance on that memorable night at Camp Nou.
It took only 13 minutes to Barcelona to open the scoring, with Philippe Coutinho converting a penalty following a controversial arbitration decision. Sevilla then missed the opportunity to score himself while Ever Banega saw his penalty saved by Jasper Cillessen.
Barca doubled his advantage shortly after Arthur cashed Ivan Rakitic for a pretty happy finish ahead of Juan Soriano, who was deceived by the Croatian shot.
Coutinho scored his second goal and Barca's third goal in the second half, while Sergi Roberto scored the fourth goal. Guilherme Arana gave a lifeline to Sevilla, but Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi scored two goals late in the game to put the finishing touches on their country's win.
