According to some reports, the saga of Neymar transfers could soon be over while Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are considering concluding a loan agreement.
While Ligue 1 champions are fed up with the Brazilian's attitude and their counterparts in La Liga are struggling to pay their fees, they may decide to meet at the center.
Thursday, on the front page of the Spanish sports newspaper, four options are proposed to get out of the stalemate.
PSG would consider the situation as irreversible and would be willing to take notice of Barca's loan offer.
This may or may not include a mandatory purchase option, to be paid next summer.
Still on the table, a proposal to exchange players, featuring two men from Barcelona more money or a trio of stars.
Namely, the PSG would be open to Ivan Rakitic, Philippe Coutinho and Samuel Umtiti who would come to the Parc des Princes for a direct exchange against Neymar.
Already this summer, the Catalans have spent £ 108 million on Antoine Griezmann and £ 65 million on Frenkie de Jong, £ 10 million on young defender Emerson and £ 31 million on Valencia goalkeeper Neto – although Jasper Cilessen has headed in the opposite direction for the same price.
These numbers, combined with a mbadive payroll, create a troubling picture of the club's finances.
It is thought that the Barca have a huge debt of £ 800 million with the impending Camp Nou redevelopment costing at least £ 538 million.
Neymar has been introduced to PSG's preparatory training earlier this week despite his demands.
Alongside Barcelona, the European giants Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Real Madrid are destinations taken into account by the winger.
However, the lack of football in the Red Devils Champions League could be fatal to their hopes of winning the mega deal.
