‘Batwoman’ sets Bridget Regan as Poison Ivy in season 3 – deadline

The CW Batwoman brought in Bridget Regan to play Pamela Isley, aka Poison Ivy, for the upcoming junior season of the drama opposite star Javicia Leslie.

Regan will return as a former Gotham University botany student who was a passionate and brilliant scientist with a mind to change the world for the better. Pamela’s plans changed when she was experimented with by a coworker, who was injected with various plant toxins that turned her into the infamous Batman villain: Poison Ivy. With tremendous power running through her veins, Pamela used her powers to do what she thought was right… even though Batman and those close to him disagreed with his dangerous methods. Now erased from the board for years, Batwoman and Team Bat must prepare for Poison Ivy’s return with vengeance.

She joins recently announced cast Nick Creegan and Victoria Caragena, who will appear as Marquis Jet and Renee Montoya, respectively.

In the Batwoman Season 2 finale, Ryan Wilder (Leslie) fully took on the role of Batwoman with Kate Kane leaving Gotham in search of her long-missing cousin Bruce Wayne (aka Batman). It has also been revealed that Ryan’s biological mother, who is believed to have died in childbirth, is actually alive.

Batwoman Also includes stars Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang and Camrus Johnson. The CW series is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros Television.

Regan recently appeared in the limited drama series lost paradise opposite Josh Harnett, Nick Nolte and Barbara Hershey. She also appeared as Rose / Sin Rostro in Joan the Virgin, Dottie in Marvel Agent Carter and Rebecca in White collar.
