The new iTaP software provides a convenient, easy and less expensive way to pay and file returns through the use of computers and mobile phones.
He welcomed the fact that GRA recruited around 8,000 NABCO trainees, adding that with GRA's additional hands, the Authority would have no reason to repeat the performance in the future.
The vice president commissioned the GRA to bring all the shopping centers together to locate potential taxpayers.
He also urged Commissioner-General Emmanuel Kofi Nti and his lieutenants to use NABCO trainees effectively and to take advantage of the technology provided by the digital addressing system to identify and locate existing and potential taxpayers in order to improve the efficiency of the NABCO trainees. improve statistics.
He called on people to obtain Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs), highlighting the need for GRA senior management to urgently resolve system-related issues in order to speed up the process. registration in order to maintain the interest and enthusiasm of the public.
At the same time, the GRA is about to launch an electronic payment platform for informal sector operators, in particular commercial transport operators and taxpayers, to enable them to pay their taxes with money. mobile.
Mr. Bawumia reaffirmed the government's commitment to shift the economy from taxation to production.

GRA Boss Kofi Nti, for his part, indicated that he was ready to organize tax centers and to involve the media in the outreach efforts.
