Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia left Accra for New Delhi on Friday for the 14th CII-Exim Bank Conference on the India-Africa Partnership scheduled for March 17-19.

The last 13 editions have become the pioneering event for Indian and African governments as well as industry to meet and explore new partnership opportunities.

It offers Indian and African leaders an opportunity to take stock of the progress of the partnership and to meet future needs.

In anticipation of a number of important meetings and networking sessions, Mr. Bawumia will deliver a speech at the inaugural session of the conclave as a guest of honor and will deliver the closing word to the end of the conclave.

On Friday and Saturday, the Vice President will be the special guest at the graduation ceremonies in the humanities and law, respectively at Buckingham University, UK.

He returns to Accra on Sunday.
