Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, on Friday, March 22, 2019, returned to his Alma Mater, at the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom.
He was present at the graduation ceremony of the 2019 promotion of the School of Humanities.
Commenting on the ceremony in a statement, the Vice President said: "I shared with them some of the challenges that I've faced since graduating, 32 years ago, but more importantly, the successes that I have achieved through perseverance and the desire to learn new things. while maintaining the friendship bonds formed in the university oven. He added: "I have also had the honor to inaugurate the UBUSOGO Association (Students of Ghanaian Origin from the University of Buckingham), an organization bringing together students and alumni of the university.
Dr. Bawumia was at the ceremony with his wife Samira.
Both traveled from India to graduation.
Both were in New Delhi, India, on the occasion of the 14th Congress of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on the India-Africa Partnership in New Delhi, India.
