Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac confirmed Friday that Robert Lewandowski and Kingsley Coman were involved in a fist fight at the training, but they dismissed any penalty.
Kovac admitted the strikers had exchanged shots in an in-camera practice session on Thursday as he prepared for Sunday's championship match at Fortuna Duesseldorf.

"We talked about all three, the players are sorry and apologized for their behavior. There will be no financial penalty and the problem will be solved," Kovac said at a conference of press.
Lewandowski, 30, reportedly punished Coman, 22, during a training exercise, and the exchange of words quickly escalated.
The two players were reportedly separated by defensemen Niklas Suele and Jerome Boateng, but Kovac was elusive about the cause of the conflict, simply claiming that "the emotions" had been exacerbated during a stormy training session.

Kovac's team are still feeling the pressure in six games remaining, especially when club president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said the Bayern head coach had no guarantee of a job.
"I'm going to focus solely on football and I will not add to my thinking, my coaching has become a secondary issue and I want to focus on the core business," said Kovac.
