According to Diario Sport, Bayern Munich is interested in the nomination of midfielder Ivan Rakitic of Barcelona.
The Bavarians are ready to compete with Inter Milan for Croatian services. Barca would be willing to listen to offers of an amount exceeding 50 million euros (57 million dollars).
Although having taken the lead, Barca is not certain that Inter will have the funds needed to fund an offer to buy Rakitic, which opens the door to a Bayern breakthrough this summer.
