Mid Bayern Munich Thiago Alcântara thinks Liverpool are "the big favorite" to win the Champions League – alongside their opponent in the semifinals, Barcelona.
Bayern were eliminated from the Champions League by Liverpool in the round of 16. The first leg was won 0-0 and Liverpool won the first leg 3-1.
The Spanish international says that the Reds are likely to become champions of Europe.
"With Manchester City removed Barca and Liverpool are the favorites for me, "he said Goal.
Thiago says that Bayern did not perform at their abilities in their Champions League draw against the Merseyside club.
"We missed a lot of things – heart, courage, football – if you want to succeed against such an opponent, you have to concentrate more and give 100%.
"I did not like our first-leg performance, it's very difficult to play at Anfield, but we were too defensive.
