After a delay of 18 months and five full years since the release of the last Bond film, the highly anticipated No Time To Die will be presented next week.

The latest installment in the 59-year-old franchise will end the era of Daniel Craig playing 007, and deliberation over who the next agent will play is at a fever pitch.

One of the most prominent names on the list to replace Craig is Lashana Lynch, who plays a new character, MI6 agent, Nomi in No Time To Die.

The 34-year-old, who grew up in Shepherd’s Bush, will appear alongside actors Daniel Craig and Rami Malek on Graham Norton tonight, in the opening episode of a new season of the series.

No Time to Die isn’t Lynch’s first time in a Hollywood blockbuster. In 2019, she was chosen to play Maria Rambeau in Captain Marvel.

Lynch is also set to star as Miss Honey, in a remake of Roald Dahl’s classic Matilda, due out in 2022.

While she was successful in Hollywood, few people know that Lashana’s first television appearance was on ITV, The Bill.

His character, Precious Miller, is the girlfriend of a gang member, who is kidnapped as collateral for a gun trade, in an episode of the crime drama titled “Man Down,” which aired in 2007.

Following her television appearance, Lynch played a series of roles on shows such as Silent Witness, Death in Paradise, and Doctors, before eventually appearing in bigger releases like Still Star Crossed.

* No Time to Die will premiere in the UK on September 30th.
